This month, our 1501 Health cohort companies proved there’s power in partnership. To expand their reach, Visana Health and Delfina teamed with like-minded companies with shared goals. MapHabit is making daily routines easier for cognitively impaired individuals in Alaska and Pair Team reached a milestone, securing $9M in funding to serve more Medicaid patients.

"A New App is Helping Alaskans with Disabilities and Memory Loss Become more Independent"

Matt Golden, founder and CEO of MapHabit was featured in Alaska Public to discuss how his company’s visual technology helps individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities independently manage their day-to-day lives. Their program also supports caregivers by alleviating the pressure they face.  

Golden noted that his system can even help folks with significant memory loss. “The most innovative aspect of MapHabit is bypassing that damage and memory system that you consciously use to recall facts and information.”

"Visana Health, WIN Team up to Offer Women's Care, Family-Building Benefits to each other's Patients"

Visana Health is joining with WIN, a family-building benefits provider to provide an integrated women’s healthcare solution to employers and payers in all 50 U.S. states.

Together, they are aligned in their mission to improve the overall health and well-being of women from menstruation to menopause. This coordinated approach hopes to give women more access to affordable, timely care for common issues such as PCOS and endometriosis.

"Ryse Health looks to Diagnose and Treat Flaws in Diabetes Care"

Ryse Health was highlighted in ARL Now for its recent momentum, as the company raised $10M in the past eighteen months. Their new partnership with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield was also featured, as the team will now support Washington D.C. members with uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes with in-person and virtual visits to control their hemoglobin and blood pressure levels.

"Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Partners with Delfina and InovCares to Advance Maternal Health"

Delfina has been tapped to partner with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas to enhance maternal health outcomes for individuals in Central Texas and Houston. Their program will be used to detect and address high-risk pregnancies.  

Delfina’s CEO Senan Ebrahim MD PhD shared his thoughts on this initiative,I have worked with providers in Texas and observed how our AI-based system empowers diverse pregnant patients and their care teams with proactive and personalized care. We are eager to bring our perspective as clinicians and technology innovators to serve pregnant moms and improve their outcomes.”

"Pair Team Secures $9M To Improve Health Access for Medicaid Patients"

Major news for Pair Team. The value-based primary care company has locked in $9M in funding. The team’s plan is to expand its reach, and partner with more community-based organizations to reach Medicaid populations and provide them with a supportive telemedicine care team. 

CEO of PairTeam, Neil Batlivala, noted, “Our urgency is that there are so many people who just have no one to lean on in their counties and in their community. We can’t be moving fast enough to get them the support they need.”

"VP of Delfina Talks Maternal Health Crisis at Harvard Data Science Initiative"

Delfina’s vice president of data science, Isabel Fulcher, visited Harvard University to chat about how their platform is combating the maternal health crisis.  

She commented, “We can start by preventing complications by intervening early in pregnancy, reducing disparities by serving unique patient needs — meeting patients where they are, getting them the resources to actually engage, break down some of those barriers — and then close these data gaps.”
